Karina was born and raised in South Florida and is of Cuban Spanish Heritage. She was an early high school graduate from Everglades High School, getting her diploma at 16. She attended Broward Community College where she received her associates degree in Business and Marketing, and transferred to Florida International University to further her studies while working on her bachelor’s degree.

Karina has worked with several charities including: Toys for Tots, The Lupus Foundation, The Harvest Drive, and Go Pink. She has been active in Latinos in Action, participating in food drives and mentorships to underprivileged children, including activities for children with Autism.

Karina enjoys modeling and has experience in print, fashion, and runway. She has walked for several fashion shows such as Miami Swim Week, Fort Lauderdale and Miami Fashion Week, along with Art Basel. She has worked with several designers like Versa Luxe, La Perla, and Macy’s, to name a few.
