Gelsiniy was born in one of the most historic and fascinating cities in Russia – Penza! She likes to be called Gelya and at an early age Gelya fell in love with the sport of skiing. Within her school years she consistently kept an A average and won every skiing competition that was offered to her. She was good at sprinting and then became the Captain of the Basketball team.

She graduated in 2006 from the Belinsky College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and continued to obtain her Master’s Degree in Education. She then moved to Moscow and started her career teaching Elementary school. In 2009, at the age of 22, she moved to Miami, Florida. Her motivation changed to modeling and she attended modeling school between 2011 and 2013.

She currently teaches Russian at the Sunville Academy in Deerfield Beach. In 2019, she competed as Ms. Russia in the Ms. International World Pageant, where she won the title of Ms. International World. During her reign, Gelya was featured in several major fashion shows and on the covers of SuperModels Unlimited Magazine and InterModello.

Through SuperModels Unlimited, she was featured on two Billboards in Times Square and became Elite SuperModel of the year in 2020. Gelya was one of the Runway Models at New York Fashion Week.
