Karina was born and raised in South Florida, and is of Cuban and Spanish heritage. She was an early high school graduate from Everglades High School, getting her diploma at the age of 16. She is currently attending Broward College, working on her Associates degree in Business and Marketing.
Karina will be transferring to Florida International University to further her studies in Business and Marketing and work on her Bachelors degree. She has worked with several charities including: Toys for Tots, the Lupus Foundation, the Harvest Drive, and Go Pink. She has been active in Latinos in Action, participating in food drives, toy distributions, and mentorships to underprivileged children, including activities for children with autism.
Karina enjoys modeling, and has experience in print, fashion and runway. She has walked in several fashion shows, such as Miami Swim Week, Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week, Miami Fashion Week and Art Basel. She has worked with several brands and designers like Versa Luxe, La Perla, and Macy’s, and is a brand ambassador for Help Energy.
